When i purchased this book, I thought it would be great. Typically the aPress books are pretty good.

We purchased the official GameSalad book and the official book is quite inferior to this one. In this book, he walks through the process of setting up an account to post games on the iOS App store, how to develop a game like Pong (which has a more features than perhaps one might think) and more.

I first learned about GameSalad in a recent Economist article, and downloaded the tool as I am a long-time programmer and gaming enthusiast, both player and creator. I thought that it would be fun to create iPhone/iPad games, but had no interest in learning the ins and outs of Objective-C and Xcode.
